Awards & Recognition

  • In 2013 Queen Elizabeth II personally selected one of my designs for the summer house at Buckingham Palace.

  • I was awarded a QEST scholarship in 2007, which funded the deep research into Elizabethan wall painting that still anchors everything I do.

  • In 2012 my Verdure design for Zoffany won the Homes & Gardens Best Printed Fabric award. Bacchus for Lewis & Wood won it again in 2014. I am the only designer to have won in consecutive years.

  • The Johnnie Walker Princes Street project, which featured my painted mural installation as its narrative heart, received a SEGD Merit Award in 2023.

  • I am one of 100 craftspeople featured in A Celebration of British Craftsmanship (Impress Publishing, 2018), photographed by Julian Calder in my Hastings studio.

  • In 2025 I was selected as an Annie Sloan Painter in Residence.
