Commission
Bespoke Commissions for brands, interior designers, private clients and the hospitality world.
A commission begins with a conversation about your brief, and what you’d like the finished work to do. Every project starts the same way: with paint, applied by hand in my Hastings studio. From there, the work can travel. A hand-painted original becomes a digitised file, a seamless wallpaper repeat, a printed fabric, a bespoke wallcovering scaled to architectural proportions. Or it stays as the physical thing itself: a fresco secco panel, a painted cloth, a piece of furniture made for a particular room. Whatever the medium, there will always be something in the work that rewards a second look.
Scenic wallpapers
Repeating landscape designs hand-painted in the studio and digitally translated for print.
Site-specific commissions
Reserved for unique architectural spaces where the brief requires a direct hand-painted finish that cannot be achieved via studio-based media.
One-off painted objects and brand commissions
Furniture and lamps made for a particular room, narrative landscapes for a brand’s milestone: originals travel into wallpaper, fabric, knitwear and beyond.
Fresco secco panels
Hand-plastered, hand-painted pieces that cannot be reproduced. Made once, by hand, here.
Painted cloths
In the Elizabethan tradition: linen painted with size and natural pigments, hung like a tapestry or wall-to-wall.
“Projects have ranged from a single fresco secco panel to a ten-metre panoramic mural for the Queen’s summerhouse at Buckingham Palace”
