Swooping in from above, we enter a lush and thriving riviera landscape of patterned trees and curling clouds. Here, nature has reclaimed once-manicured pleasure gardens; a menagerie of creatures roam the forgotten lawns and terraces, while exotic birds purloin abandoned jewellery.
I created this fantasy in collaboration with fine jeweller Larkspur & Hawk. Drawing upon a shared aesthetic with founder Emily Satloff, I sought to build a whimsical world for Emily to explore within her own designs.
While the collection began as a creative dialogue between our two studios, the motifs of Emily’s Garden have since taken on a life of their own, capturing a sense of storied, hand-painted charm that translates beautifully from the intimacy of a jewel box to the immersive scale of an interior.
Emily’s Garden is printed to order. Please allow 2 to 3 weeks for UK delivery and 3 to 5 weeks for international delivery.
How It Works
Emily’s Garden is priced by the roll
Each roll contains three drops (A B C) that repeat continuously around a room. The drops join to make up 1 full horizontal repeat and 1.7 vertical repeats. The full height of the drops is 315 cm / 10’4” so will fit walls with this maximum height.
For wall heights above 315 cm / 10’4” we can supply this design as a bespoke “mural” order with drops printed to required lengths (price on application).
Available in one colourway, “faded opulence”, Emily’s Garden is printed in the UK on pre-trimmed, non-woven, matte paper. Rolls are printed to order and slight variations in alignment may occur. I recommend ordering all the rolls you need at the same time.
